"Artificial Intelligence in Various Settings" Training

The overall purpose of the course is to provide context for what artificial intelligence is and the various types available, including tools that are currently trending. It gives examples of how it can be used in the different learning environments and covers the implications of using AI in those learning environments. It features a variety of resources, such as peer-reviewed publications, videos, and podcasts in order to engage all learner preferences and types.

For this project, I used the ADDIE framework as a guide for analyzing the target audience and designing the training course. I also utilized the Quality Matters CPE Rubric to guide my design and development process in order to make an effective, engaging, and accessible training course. I used a table format to plan the project's development, which also helped with aligning the training content to the course goals and modular objectives. I employed Gagne's Nine Events of Instruction in conjunction with Bloom's Taxonomy to design an engaging and meaningful training course. The Bloom's Taxonomy levels are highlighted alongside the course goals and module objectives. In order to receive feedback on the course, I created a Google Form with questions that follow Level 1 and Level 2 of the Kirkpatrick Evaluation Model which allows me to see what participants have learned and how the training has impacted them.
