The Learning, Design, and Technology Masters in Education program is designed for those who wish to pursue instructional design positions in K-12 education, online learning, and/or training and development. Each concentration program is meticulously led by expert faculty members in the instructional design field. The courses are immersive, interactive, and project-based which allows students to collaborate, network, and create for real-life scenarios. That is why I chose this program: it reflects the ways I like to create my instruction. Collaboration, interactivity, and project-based learning are at the center of my teaching philosophy which directly impacts the type of instruction I plan.

The Training and Development concentration is geared toward the corporate sector but also towards application in the military, government, and non-profit roles in analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating. I am going to transfer my passion of creating life-long learners in the classroom to these sectors as I begin my Instructional Design journey. I chose this concentration because it will help me accomplish this goal.
