JAMAD Designs
In my Learning Media, Resources, and Technology course, the class was tasked with forming groups of instructional designers that either focused on the AECT Standards or the ISTE Standards. As my group was made up on Designers from the Training & Development concentration, we decided to focus on the AECT Standards for each module project. JAMAD Designs Team & Products
Team Purpose: Our team was driven by the purpose of improving corporate education through instructional design projects that focus on meeting the specific needs of adult learners. Through collaborative efforts, we aim to elevate corporate training experiences, fostering a dynamic and adaptive learning environment. Our collective goal is to contribute to the development of a highly skilled, engaged, and resilient workforce, thereby enhancing overall organizational performance and success. As a team, we are committed to continuous learning and improvement. We seek to enhance our own knowledge and cultivate transferable skills that not only benefit our projects but also contribute to the professional growth of each team member.
Favorite Product: The product I am most proud of is the Credly Badging video we created using Vyond and Screencastify. My role for this project was the designer, who analyzes the scenario and selects the model to apply to the solution. For this project, my team and I agreed to implement Lewin's Change Management Model, Unfreeze, Change, and Refreeze. Through the immersive video experience, learners navigate the new technology-supported instruction seamlessly, allowing them to incorporate Credly badges into their professional development journey. Utilizing the iterative Lewin's Change Management Model, the team proactively addresses any challenges and refines the program to meet the needs and expectations of participants. This project was challenging in many ways but namely because of my unfamiliarity with Lewin's model as well as the Vyond tool. However, since working on the project and receiving support from my team members, I am more familiar with both.
